PostPosted: Fri Dec 23, 2005 1:02 pm  Post subject: Idea Jim Morrison/ The doors' last album/ 1971/ The storm brews! Reply with quoteBottom of PageBack to top

Idea A very famous American alternate news radio host, Art Bell says this song paralleled O.B.L. in 2001. During the first Gulf War in 1990 and 1991 I always thought it paralleled S.H. We gave that man a ride. We gave both a ride.

A line to mention that ECHELON's computers will catch names in a NET, as such. Yorkshire, England has one of seven sites worldwide.

The 1st Gulf War was named Operation Desert Storm, and if millions thought this song was connected it's never discussed in alternate news (or the World famous Daily Snopes dot com). I was wanting to ask a question related to the first line on January 28th/06 when I got on Coast to Coast Live here in the USA. I did not get to it when ending the chat with Ian Punnett and R.Gary Patterson.

The Daily Snopes web site deals with Urban Legends (where music is one of their favorite topics) called 'Hidden Messages in Music'. I think they are looking for messages hidden on purpose. Not by God "winks" (as penned by US author SQuire Rushnell) or coincidental synchronisity.

"Riders On The Storm" from 1971 from The Doors' L.A. Woman album.........

Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house we're born
Into this world we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out on loan * S.H.'s doubles? Most lyrics sites say, "alone".
Report back here with words you hear. Listen closely!
Riders on the storm

There's a killer on the road * Improvised Explosive Device
His brain is squirmin' like a toad * A perfect description of a terrorist's brain
Take a long holiday * American citizens
Let your children play
If ya give this man a ride * S.H.
Sweet memory will die
Killer on the road, yeah * I. E. D.s mentioned a 2nd time.

Girl ya gotta love your man * A soldier's wife or girlfriend.
Girl ya gotta love your man

Take him by the hand
Make him understand
The world on you depends
Our life will never end
Gotta love your man, yeah

Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house we're born
Into this World we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out alone *S.H. was alone when caught!
Riders on the storm

Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm

A dictator is a bad actor that too many believe Exclamation

Comments or questions? I hear this song nearly every night on the road listening to Classic Rock radio. A question; Do you hear it where you live?

Hi MK,

Didn't Jim Morrison write the song about an early childhood incident of his?

I thought it related to the time he was in the back of his parents car and drove past a road accident involving some red indians?

JM always wished to be known as a poet when he was alive, as opposed to a song writer, and many of his lyrics are a little foggy to say the least, but I guess they made perfect sense to him!

Regards

C

Surprised carrie,

Yes you are right. The desert scene and auto accident is found in the start of THE DOORS movie is in our southwest. I don't have it on tape, and I'd like to see it again. Like about any song the individual listener can mesh words to see a completely different story. Millions thought it could be like this, I say, after 1990.

Alternate news in radio, tabloids, and related tv shows were mum in and after 1990. At the start of the 1st Gulf War our coalition troops were and still are "Riders On The Storm." This "Storm" brews as mentioned last Friday on Coast to Coast AM by terrorist expert Douglas Hagman.

I tried to mention this on the "air" last Saturday night with guest R. Gary Patterson. I told one experience of mine posted here in Worldwide Frights, and before I could mention Jim and company the phone went silent. I was not quick enough in the mention.

carrie? Do you hear this song played in the UK a little or alot?

Thanks carrie! Very Happy Off to the Mack lorry 2005 just now.

MK Cody

Capitol letters "MK" is all that shows on the grill of this lorry. An American flag with "September 11, 2001" covers the AC. Wink

Yeah, Doors songs get played sometimes over here, but not often, and not often enough for me!

I've got The Doors film on DVD and I've also got a couple of books about JM. I thought he was a fascinating character.

Did you know that when he was at college, he filled up his store cupboard with 1000+ books, and as his party trick he would ask someone to go in the cupboard, pick out any book and read the first paragraph. He could name the book and author every time.

A genius if there ever was one, but an unfortunate inclination towards self destruction.

Keep doing what your doing MK, we love your enigmatic posts!

Quick Reply

I have not met a fellow company driver who likes them yet. Great insights on JM. carrie, look up enigmatic in the dictionary for me. I can't find mine, and high school "Word Power" with Miss Armstrong was too long ago!

I looked it up on Google. I have a natural ability that slides right into obscurity in others views. I think it's why threads lock down with 0 posts for so long. Hmm! It's all so clear to me carrie. I've never understood some comments here about not understanding my stuff. Strangely paranormal or not.

Bed time as I type..........thanks for the insight on JM I had not heard before. I hear them every night and "Riders On The Storm" from 1971 is a nightly play here. I have this on T.A.P.S'. message board too. The Atlantic Paranormal Society the home of Sci-Fi Channel's "Ghost Hunters" and 17,900 members. They bill the site as the World's largest paranormal get together on the www!!

I'll keep posting up as advised by you and Lancelot. Enigmaticly unintenisionaly and naturaly the way I am.

MK Cody Very Happy

PostPosted: Fri Feb 24, 2006 10:55 am  Post subject: Complicity Daily Snopes/ Spook Central/ Jim Morrison's Ghost Reply with quoteBottom of PageBack to top

It's on www.snopes.com on the message board under Spook Central. Whether they like Jim or not. Skeptics there take every story with a grain of salt. As they should I believe. Some members let the salt pile get too tall and their vision gets blocked. Their eyes may burn a bit too!

I made a prediction on T.A.P.S. that on the "snopes" site no one would comment on the post with 'the doors' lines of "Riders On The Storm." 24 replies so far and no mention as predicted! Wink

Edit at the end of the year,......I was blocked from posting at snopes because I was a critic of the site's owner, Dave. He challenged the good memory of two heroes of mine US Army Lt. Audie L. Murphy and singer of America's history Johnny Horton. His big hit was THE BATTLE OF NEW ORLEANS (not a hit in Britain). I slammed him in a reported post back to the adminsitrator namely Dave or Barbara. It was a strange message board and I called his thread a waste of time and weird. They do their best to de-bunk urban legendry! Thousands of people reference the weird site daily. There are a few contributors that show intel.

I'm finally here, MK!!! This one certainly has me shaking my head. My hubby served in Desert Storm also, the lyrics you posted are so similar to the events that took place and are taking place now in the Iraqi war. I believe that all have "sensitive" abilities, could this have been a way for him to have expressed what he had seen in a vison/dream and masked this with saying that the song is based on the above mentioned story? Perhaps just for the sake of not wnating to appear stranger than he already did............

Glad you are here T.A.P.S. friend. During Desert Storm in 1990 and 1991 I expected too much I guess. I invisioned NBC, CBS, etc. playing part of this song in relation to many of their news spots or current documentaries. So often they will choose music of all kinds to relate this way.

Our Coalition Troops were certainly riding and flying across the desert. They were sailing on the seas riding in ships surrounding this "Storm". They were then and are now, just like us all, in a "Storm" that won't end. A Jihad has been called for many times in centuries past. All our lives we non-believers have lived as Infadels to the Jihadists. I'll close that paragraph now.

I meshed words as a skeptic would surely say, and maybe I should'nt have. But to me millions of us already saw what Jim and 'the doors' wrote there in 1971. Alternate news just has not had time for something like this.

Rachel, your explanation was perfect! You're the second US citizen I've talked to here and you came on this thread shaking your head like me on this one!

Last night on America's Coast to Coast AM Ian Punnett fielded caller after caller who wanted to say "Ding dong the witch is not dead" in ref to S. H.'s hanging last eve.

I bet Jim Morrison could have set them on the right path. These doubters were saying from the start, "We 'did not' get him!!" related to Paul Bremmers statement after the spider hole was cleaned out near Tikrit, Iraq.

I wanted to call in real bad at that time. What's your opinion as the year nears it's end?

Did they hang the wrong man? I don't think so!

Comments? Questions? Or? Crickets?

Just recently I posted Jim Morrison and The Doors' 1971 hit song's syncs to the Iraq War in this very active web site. It just fit so perfectly in the thread. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. My favorite "key" line is, "The world on you depends"

God Bless Our Troops!

http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/020780.php

I mentioned the synching parallels to R. Gary Patterson on Coast to Coast AM last March. I was the last caller in a night of Jim Morrison mysteries. Shocked

Now we can write Saddam's full name and ECHELON in Yorkshire won't give a darn...

This stormy topic has been posted in Mexico, of all places, and it has had it's share of positive discussions.

This just in today from CBS News, about yesterday's sad news. And again and again it's the same old sad story.
