"Loch Ness holds secrets, ancient and deadly. Does a monster really inhabit its depths, or is it just myth? Why, after thousands of reported sightings and dozens of expeditions, is there still no hard evidence?
Marine biologist Zachary Wallace knows, but the shock of his near-drowning as a child on Loch Ness have buried all memories of the incident. Now, a near-death experience suffered while on expedition in the Sargasso Sea has caused these long-forgotten memories to resurface. Haunted by vivid night terrors, stricken by a sudden fear of the water, Zach finds he can no longer function as a scientist. Unable to cope, his career all but over, he stumbles down a path of self-destruction...until he receives contact from his estranged father...a man he has not seen since his parents' divorced and he left Scotland as a boy. Angus Wallace, a wily Highlander who never worked an honest day in his life, is on trial for murdering his business partner. Only Zachary can prove his innocence - if he is innocent, but to do so means confronting the nightmare that nearly killed him seventeen years earlier.
Incorporating the latest research and "astounding new evidence," that leads to real answers concerning the monster's identity, best-selling author Steve Alten weaves a tale of horror about the most publicized and controversial creature ever to exist.
Edit : I forgot to link the web site found now on Coast to Coast AM dot com. It's w w w d o t t h e l o c h d o t com for info on the new book. I thought I had included this information. The books cover is there as a link and George Noory has been talking it up at commercial breaks.
You all can listen live to this alternate news radio via the Net. Links are found at w w w dot f a n t a s t i c f o r um dot c o m. This site lead me here with a Cambridge Paranormal link.
The hosts are Art Bell on weekends and George Noory thru the week.

As I remember voting was closed when I posted here. I would have voted YES. A resounding YES all my life. Proof is in the pictures. Go to: l o c h n e s s t o o t h d o t c om. ASAP
Please post your feedback here on Inspector Gadget's poll and thread. Inspector? Can you re-start your poll? Nessie dines on,............and I never thought a myth that big would eat fish to survive. Feel free to help the originators of that site recover what is rightfully theirs.
Also if the Para Talk members and the ever present guests know about the alternate news out of Scotland let us know. Last nights US radio program on Nessie was one of the best ever on Coast to Coast AM US radio.
If you were linked and listening please post that here also.

IG and all,
If Nessie IS an eel twenty feet long with a toothy mouth as big as a wash tub he and she would breath like an eel. Stealthy to the max. Bill MacDonald has raised the reward for the eel tooth to $100,000.00 dollars US. He is a long time investigator of the Loch and a scuba diver who has experience in all waters the World over.
Sonar's pings have always sent the monster packing. The Loch is a mile wide at the widest point, 42 degrees temp, 26 miles long and 950 feet deep.
Bill is from the family of MacDonald-Douglass aircraft. He was on Coast to Coast radio last Friday for an hour talking of the tooth found then confiscated by a Loch water bailiffe. Confiscated illegally by law. Why they didn'tt bring in the red deer remains is strange to me.
Has the "tooth" made any news via mainstream or via alternate in the UK? It was found last March by two US students wanting film of the Loch Ness to show to vacationing fellow students who opted to Spring break the traditional way by boozing on a beach in the US.
The two did rather well and time will have it's way with the "tooth".

Skeptics had a field day with this in 2005. I posted the link below in Unexplained Mysteries up IN Scotland this week. Low and behold a moderator came PDQ out of the dark pages at UM. It's avatar chided me for posting below a skeptics investigation, so old at UM, of Bill McDonald and the college men's tooth find. At least I bumped the negative thread and now all 82,000 plus members can let it go back into the dark very slowly.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frilled_shark
This creature inhabits salt water, but the two U.S. college students in 2005 found an eel's tooth in a ripped up deer on the rocky banks of Loch Ness. It ranges off the coast of Scotland among other places scattered worldwide. The shark? is only a bit over 6 feet long but with a mouth like that it could dine on a swimming deer. Some sharks are keen on fresh water too. Referencing now the infamous shark attack near Matawan, N.J., U.S.A. in 1916!!
It is surprising that this shark is not re-classified as it's own species or as an eel. Sharks teeth the 300 are not! The tooth may not be an eel's tooth.
Here is the tooth claimed to have been removed from a deer's rib in 2005. Some say it was really a deer antler, not! I bet none of the skeptics never shot a King's deer for the freezer. Lots of websites say this tooth find was a hoax.
http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=30724
Their video's off hand production is lacking good views. The 2005 still pics posted were a bit more realistic.
More than once this tooth story has been a whole show on Coast to Coast AM. Bill even had a plastic? skull mock up made of a big headed, big mouth/needle toothed eel like creature.
The students video just found this week was a surprise find. A Google had it on page one. I sent it to a friend who said it had been removed at You Tube! At least I watched it a few times and there was curse words at the first part. One student did not want to go over to the deer carcass.
If it was a road killed deer hacked up and planted there with a fake tooth. Their troubles that followed were not worth a visit from The Tooth Fairy.
This whole story was intriguing to hear it on live radio back in 2005.
A sure thing is that this fresh post is in hopes of inspiring members to post one up here.
Since IG has started the engine running let's gas it up for the long run!

P.S.
When the Gulf's west winds get to Europe and Africa. Watch out for an oily? rain someday. Check your car's finish after the rain drops dry. There maybe a residue of some sort related to the Gulf oil spill tragedy. Crude (all) oil on water will evaporate slowly into the air*.

*Annually I put heavy oil in a few truck tires stored outdoors to prevent mosquitoes from laying their eggs. Each Spring the half inch of heavy weight oil would be gone and just evaporated away!
Search You Tube for oily rain and see what comes up....
