I went on a photography holiday to Ireland in May and visited some haunted places - including the scariest place ever!

Moore Hall
This has the most awful atmosphere, one of brooding evil and malevolence, watching. I have done 2 yeas of paranormal investigation and never felt anything like it. I had the mental image of a man in a brown tunic. He may be a monk, as there is an abbey nearby or he could be one of the people who daubed black magic symbols on the wall. My companio and I both felt the atmosphere.

Hellfire Club
This again is definitely haunted. There is a peaceful air to it and I had the mental image of a young teenage boy, fairhaired called Tomy (unusual spelling, not a typo!).

Has anyone else encountered any hauntings in Ireland?

Hi,

I visit Ireland regularly because my husband is Irish, we going to Ballylongford reguarly it is a very strange place I don't know if anyone else has ever been there, there is a ruin of a castle by the river shannon. Carryfolye castle I think it is called my husband and I were travelling back along the road by the castle and there was a strange atmosphere and even although my husband is very skeptical even he felt the atmosphere. I am not a medium in any sence of the world but I felt great sadness and even started to cry for no reason!

Also if anyone ever goes to Dublin there is a ghost bus tour which leaves from O'Connell Street it is really good and worth going to you see quite a few famous sites!

Best Wishes
